History of Bob's Speedometer - Family owned and operated since 1929 we were originally located in Detroit, Michigan, as United Motors Auto Service until 1958. By the mid 1950's we began working exclusively with Speedometers & Gauges for Automobiles, Fire Trucks, Boats, and even bicycles, and just about everything else with a gauge in it. In 1987 the business moved northwest into Farmington. Ownership changed from Father Bob to son Bruce in 1969. Bruce has been repairing and restoring instrumentation gauges since 1956. Bob passed away in 1980 (RIP).

In 2004, we moved from our Farmington location to Howell, Michigan.
